What does your job at RGU involve?
Supporting under-represented groups with opportunities and programmes by visiting hub schools and encouraging them to pursue higher education or whatever they wish to do through presentations, workshops and programmes such as Access to and Aces. 

What attracted you to come to work at RGU? 
I loved studying at RGU and fell in love with the campus, the staff and everything about how it worked. I wanted to be part of that network in supporting students and encouraging them in their studies. 

If you weren’t doing this job, what, in an ideal world, would you like to do for a living?
I wanted to be a lecturer at RGU or run my own business selling my own artwork and running workshops alongside creative learning supporting local creatives in the area.  

What’s your favourite place in Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire? 
Potterton Farm for the strawberry picking season. It’s a peaceful area that I always look forward to visiting Or Balmedie Beach however I have always called it Jelly Beach as during my first visit there I encountered millions of jellyfish.  

Best holiday you’ve had and why?
Greece, I am more spontaneous on holiday and climbed Mt. Olympus, visiting a small local village on the mountain who sourced everything locally. I tried the most amazing food there and didn’t want to come back! It was also the first holiday I braved swimming in the sea (not a confident swimmer) and got stung by a jellyfish -quite the experience.

Favourite band/music?
Caravan Palace 

If you’re going to a restaurant and could only have one thing to eat (one course), what would it be? 
Depends on the restaurant but it would always have some form of pasta or noodles. My usual is Ramen. 

If you were in charge of the university for one day, what’s the first thing you would do?
In a non-serious note – Bring in a Greggs! I know we are trying to be healthier, but my goodness sometimes I could die without a bacon and cheese turnover, or a warm sausage roll. I can’t be the only one, right?
