Do you work in: Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management or Surveying?   Would you be interested in ad hoc lecturing and collaboration in the development of our courses?

Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and Built Environment is looking for ad hoc lecturers on these specialist subjects and needs to build a bank of ‘Willing Professionals’ whom we can call upon as and when required to work alongside our regular academic staff in the development and delivery of our courses.

As we’re sure you know, the School has a strong, established reputation for professional education in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Construction Management and Building and Quantity Surveying. We maintain close relationships with our professions and wider industry so we’re confident that many of you will already know us, but perhaps not everyone is aware of these opportunities so please do feel free to share this article with colleagues.

Across all disciplines, our teaching teams have at their heart active practitioners who work alongside full-time academic staff in the development and delivery of our courses. This is fundamental to ensuring that our students are well prepared for contemporary professional life. We are therefore always keen to know who in industry may be interested in becoming involved.

Consequently, we are inviting expressions of interest from professionals (individuals or companies) who would like to explore opportunities for contribution or collaboration, including assisting us in the delivery of studio and classroom learning. Your interest and contribution may be big or small but our students greatly value industrial and professional input. If you are interested in talking with us, we would certainly like to speak with you.

Please get in touch with us at either (or both!) of the (email) addresses below or call for more details.
