What does your job at RGU involve?
In a nutshell, my role is to act as the touch point between industry (my focus is in the Energy sector) and our talented academic team to form long lasting commercially valuable relationships.
What attracted you to come to work at RGU?
Interesting work within a field of great interest to me.
If you weren’t doing this job, what, in an ideal world, would you like to do for a living?
I am not sure, to be honest. Possibly doing my best to add value to those around me.
What’s your favourite place in Aberdeen/Aberdeenshire?
My home. But possibly the Aberdeen beach.
Best holiday you’ve had and why?
My holiday to the USA in 2023. It was a church camp meeting, various people from all over the world. An incredible time was had!

Currently, Traitors.

Currently, Gotta Have Faith – Emma Nissen.
If you’re going to a restaurant and could only have one thing to eat (one course), what would it be?
Hmm I recently went to a Turkish restaurant and that was wonderful. So, I would say the set menu meat special.
If you were in charge of the university for one day, what’s the first thing you would do?
I would probably look at the viability of having a 4-day week, firstly for academic staff. Meaning longer working days in rotations but more free time for self-development.
