Job Title: Lecturer in Non-medical prescribing – within School of Pharmacy & Life Sciences

What does your job at RGU involve?

Preparing MPharm students to become autonomous, Independent Prescribing Pharmacists. I will use my 20 years of clinical experience as a community pharmacist and independent prescribing pharmacist to embed prescribing skills and knowledge through the MPharm course.

What attracted you to come to work at RGU?

I have worked in various roles over the past 5 years within PALs, from a Teacher Practitioner to becoming involved in research within PALs. I am halfway through completing a PhD- so this role sits well alongside this.

If you weren’t doing this job, what, in an ideal world, would you like to do for a living?

Run a B&B in a beautiful part of bonny Scotland!

Balmedie beach

Best holiday you’ve had and why?

Bali – beautiful island & very clean and welcoming. I was reunited with my sister on her 40th birthday as a surprise for her- she lives in Perth, Australia and I hadn’t seen her for 2 years prior to this!!
